We are at an exciting milestone in our journey as an organisation striving to
make a difference, following a re-name, re-brand and successful income
generation. This has been a catalyst to this invitation: for new people, with an
interest in our cause and relevant skills and experience, to offer to join our
Board.
It would be an exciting time to join us on a voluntary basis to help us deliver
on our ambitions and contribute to steering Our Room in the years ahead.
We will be holding a recruitment session in late November (date tbc) and so we’re closing applications for all of the roles below on the 31st October 2025.
Chair of the Board
Our Room Manchester is seeking a passionate and visionary Chair of Trustees to lead our board and help shape the future of our unique arts and social care charity. We are a collective, creative space for male, trans, and non-binary sex workers, offering practical support, advocacy, and inspiring creative opportunities.
As Chair, you will provide strategic leadership, ensure strong governance, and act as an ambassador for our mission, working closely with trustees, staff, and stakeholders to drive change and strengthen our impact. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, a commitment to social justice, and a belief in the power of creativity to inspire change.

Our Room Manchester is looking for a committed and detail-focused Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees and help guide the financial health of our arts and social care charity. We are a creative, collective space for male, trans, and non-binary sex workers, offering advocacy, support, and inspiring artistic opportunities.
As Treasurer, you will oversee budgets, accounts, and financial strategy, ensuring resources are managed responsibly and in line with good governance. This voluntary role is ideal for someone with financial expertise, integrity, and a passion for social justice and creativity, who can help us build a sustainable future.

We are a collective, creative space for male, trans, and non-binary sex workers, offering both inspiring creative opportunities and vital advocacy and support.
As Creative Trustee, you will bring expertise in socially engaged arts practice to support our staff and leadership team, ensuring our programmes remain innovative, inclusive, and impactful. This voluntary role is ideal for someone with strong sector knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for creativity as a force for social change.
