WILD @ ART: A relaxing creative space for wellbeing
Wild@Art is our calm and welcoming Thursday afternoon session where you can explore different forms of creativity and relaxation in a supportive community for male, trans and non-binary sex workers. No previous art experience is needed — just come as you are and enjoy the process!
When: Every Thursday, 2-4pm
Where: Our Room Manchester
What you get: Hot food, drinks, snacks, bus passes and a £10 Tesco voucher
What we do: each session offers a different mindful arts project, including:
- Printmaking (our prints have even been made into cushions for our office!)
- Creating a community LGBTQ+ flag for Manchester Pride, displayed at the Whitworth Gallery
- Gallery tours and creative discussions
- Clay sculpting and hands-on craft making
- Recycled art projects
- Zine making and self-expression
Like all our sessions this will be a safe and non-judgemental space. Sessions are run by a member of the Support and Advocacy Team, who are available to arrange one-to-one, confidential appointments around any issues you might be experiencing.
